Claire Carnes (Rotary recipient), Mrs. Holzbauer (Teacher of the Year) and Corbin Stiefer (Rotary recipient) all represented Hubbard at the Rotary Banquet last night.

The Hubbard Hot Dog Supper has been set for October 11th

Tennis try-outs at Robert E. Lee will be May 13-17, 2013 from 4:30-5:30 pm at the Lee H.S tennis courts. All students interested must have a current physical.
Hubbard School Supplies for the 2013-2014 are available April 8th through May 24th!

Graduating Class of 2013
On June 6, 2013, the Hubbard Graduation Committee will be hosting a Graduation Ceremony along with a social for the Hubbard 8th Graders. These events are for HUBBARD 8th graders only.
In order to attend the 8th Grade Graduation Ceremony and the Social, the following criteria must be met:
Discipline for 2nd Semester Only:
o ISS – Can not be assigned to ISS for more than 5 days
o Suspension – Can not be suspended for more than 3 days
o Plyler and other persistent behavior problems – Up to the school’s discretion
In order to attend the Social – the following criteria must also be met:
All fines (textbooks, library books, etc) must be taken care of by date to be determined later.
If you have met one of the conditions listed above, you will not be allowed to attend the Recognition Ceremony and/or the Social.
Please make good choices during this last semester and make plans to attend the 8th Grade Events!

Hubbard Class of 2013
With great excitement, we are pleased to announce the traditional Graduation Celebration for Hubbard 8th grade students. Help us celebrate the accomplishments of these students and share their excitement as they prepare to embark on their High School journey. Dr. Scott Farler, Principal, the 8th grade teachers, and the Graduation Committee are please to announce a full day of fun and excitement for your child.
This year’s theme will be Starry Nights, and these events are planned for Thursday, June 6th:
- Breakfast and Class Pictures (shortly after school begins)
- Graduation and Recognition Ceremony – TJC’s Wagstaff Gymnasium (5:30 p.m.)
- Dance and Social (semi-formal) – Hubbard Middle School Gym (7:00 – 9:30 p.m.)
Breakfast is held in honor of the graduating class of 2013. It will be on the blacktop on the last day of school. Immediately following the breakfast a photo of the graduation class will be taken. The students will be permitted to leave at 11:00 a.m. (They must be signed out by their parents.)
Graduation & Recognition Ceremony – Students should arrive by 4:45 at Wagstaff Gymnasium.
Attire: Young ladies should wear age-appropriate semi-formal wear – skirts or dresses are preferred. No strapless, backless, or halter dresses. Young men should wear dress slacks and shirts (ties are preferred, jackets are optional). No tennis shoes, shorts, blue jeans, or tuxedos. Please do not arrive by limousine.
Dance & Social is for Hubbard 8th grade graduates only. The theme for the event is “Starry Nights.” Attire will be the same as for the graduation ceremony. No admittance to the dance after 7:30.
